    9th December 2009: Eco-Sim

We take the current climate conference in Copenhagen as an opportunity to provide you with today's release, the extension Eco-Sim. WirthSim allows new to create the system simulation under consideration of ecological aspects. All elements in the simulation include now the energy consumption of the drives and an indicator of its operating status On / Off. The consideration of the inclusion in the overall throughput in the design of systems leads to a reduced power consumption. The cost per kW/h are in WirthSim centrally collected and extrapolated to one year of operation and are visualized.

We are pleased to contribute with this world novelty to reduce the worldwide CO2 emissions.

12th October 2009: WirthSim Embark on China Logistics Simulation Market

Shanghai SimWay Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd signed a reseller agreement with WirthLogistik GmbH on August 26th, 2009. This marks the beginning of a strategic, mutual beneficial relationship between the two high-tech companies. According to the agreement, Shanghai SimWay will develop sales network for WirthLogistik GmbH Simulation Product WirthSim in China Region, including Taiwan, HK, Macau, and provides technical support in the region.

SimWay make Chinese companies more competitive through advanced dynamical simulation products and consulting services. SimWay has been a pioneer in promoting simulation technology to Chinese Universities and Industrial users since the year 2004, and owns the biggest non-profit Simulation Technical Forum (www.simulway.com) in China.

Dr. Lu Yunbo (CEO of SimWay) says:
“Due to WirthSim Product’s ease of use and powerful features such as emulation, audio-visual and coming Eco-Sim, SimWay decided to promote WirthSim in the challenging logistic simulation market in China. Built upon its brand awareness and good customer base, SimWay is optimistic for a broad WirthSim market prospect in China Region.”

11th January 2009: New Partner in Technology with LTW Intralogistics GmbH, Austria

The international supplier of intra-logistic systems LTW Intralogistics GmbH decided after a short period to convert their advertising partnership to a technology partnership. This contains the integration of the High Bay Stacker Cranes of the types LTW-I and LTW-HE within the freeware WirthSim Standard and optional in WirthSim Professional.

Matthias Heddinga, marketing director LTW Intralogistics says: „ The partnership with a manufacturer of an “easy to use” simulation software reflects the customer needs to build and test proposed investments in a virtual environment first. We support our customers with our profound experience within intra logistic systems in order to establish real cost savings with the use of a virtual environment“.

The integration of real intra-logistic components within a free accessible material flow simulation is a novelty. It is our intension, with additional partnerships, to provide the worldwide users even more know-how.

6th June 2008: The ABB School of Technique in Baden (Switzerland) introduces the material flow simulation WirthSimTM Professional to train their students. Beat Schlumpf - Director of Studies for Logistics - says:

For us at ABB School of Technique with the highest degree in non-university education, it is important that our students receive an integrated training. In order to design complex intra-logistic systems and verifying the related throughput, a reliable simulation is indispensable. With WirthSimTM we use a simulation software in the field of warehouse logistics which covers all requirements of a modern simulation tool and at the same time attracts by its simplicity.
